Cinnamon

Cinnamon is a spice harvested from a variety of tree species from the genus Cinnamomum.

It is native to Myanmar, Sri Lanka, India, and Bangladesh.

It is often used in powdery form as condiments for food and beverages.

The aroma and taste of cinnamon resembles a bit like mandarin oranges and is a delight for many food lover’s taste buds.

However, when adding it to food and drinks, often only a little bit (about 1 tbsp or less) will be more than enough to enhance the original flavor of the food or drink.

Too much of it can easy render a beverage undrinkable.
